Dr. Moring and her husband maternity pictures. Prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum are incredibly special and transformative times. I have coaching program options for women trying to conceive, women who are pregnant as well as women in the postpartum phase up to one year post-delivery.

The female body is absolutely amazing and is something that needs to be honored and properly nourished during these times. The food choices we make while trying to conceive, and during pregnancy and postpartum not only impacts our own bodies and emotional well-being but also that of our child(ren). It is incredibly important we are fueling our body (mind and spirit) with the best foods and nutrients possible.

We have different nutritional needs during pregnancy and postpartum, especially for women who are nursing or plan to nurse. In my prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum programs, we will develop a tailored plan for you to ensure you are getting proper nutrients which will ensure an optimal pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

Proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle behaviors are critical during this time, and I will teach you not only how to fuel your body and which nutrients are most important, I will make vitamin and supplement recommendations, help you with a physical activity and exercise regimen, and help you to obtain optimal sleep, and manage stress levels.

As we prepare for postpartum, we will also discuss your birth plan, considerations for optimal recovery, the 4thtrimester, infant sleep, nursing, and emotional health and well-being. For those interested, we can also discuss placenta encapsulation and whether that is a good option for you as well.Dr. Moring pregnant

For women 35 and older, it is especially important for us to pay close attention to the nourishment and lifestyle behaviors we pursue while pregnant and postpartum. Having had a child in advanced maternal age myself, I will not only share my professional knowledge and training, but will also include my personal experiences and the things I did and lessons I learned during this transformational, most special time.

Relationships can suffer postpartum. All our attention is suddenly focused on a new-born and possibly other children in the home as well. Couple that with exhaustion from limited and broken sleep, the initial lack of intimacy, and the hormonal storm postpartum, and it can be a recipe for negative outcomes in your marriage or partnership. Some of our time will be spent on exercises to improve and maintain a healthy relationship with your spouse or partner and things for you all to work and consider together. Which Program is Best for You?

Prenatal

Ideal for women trying to conceive or planning to start trying to conceive

This program will provide you with resources, skills and information to ensure an optional pregnancy and postpartum experience. 

Pregnancy

Ideal for women during pregnancy or women wanting to learn more about pregnancy & nutrition needs.

You can enroll at any point but ideal enrollment is in the first trimester and we will cover all things pregnancy and postpartum.

Postpartum

Ideal for women in 3rd trimester or any woman wanting to learn about the postpartum period. 

We focus heavily on the “4th-trimester” and ensuring a healthy & happy momma & a positive postpartum experience and beyond!

Coaching Structure 

Program duration is 8 to 12 + weeks and content is tailored to meet your needs

These programs are optimal for women trying to conceive and women who are pregnant

I provide you nutritional and behavioral guidance and tips and strategies for optimal health and nourishment for momma and baby

Coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom

Initial Client Session includes an extensive review of client history and goal setting

This coaching package includes weekly Zoom sessions

 Weekly sessions are 45-60 minutes in length

Clients also have access to me via telegram between sessions (M-Th)

Additional coaching sessions can be purchased following program completion

Coaching Includes:

  • Thorough client health history discussion of health and nutritional needs during pregnancy and postpartum
  • Assessment and review of any recent labs
  • Recommendation for additional labs/testing
  • Nutritional Recommendations based unique personal history and goals
  • Comprehensive plan for addressing all dimensions of wellness including physical, financial, sexual, emotional, spiritual, and interpersonal dimensions
  • Weekly one-on-one coaching via Zoom, FaceTime, or telephone
  • Weekday access via text, email, or MarcoPolo (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
  • Recordings of ALL coaching sessions
  • For women who plan to nurse, I will provide support and information to ensure success with nursing
  • Guidance on necessary lifestyle shifts
  • Guidance for improved and restful sleep
  • Tailored dietary plan to ensure healthy pregnancy and postpartum period
  • Recommendations for macronutrients and suggestions for foods to include
  • Review of essential nutrients and considerations for additional nutrient needs during this time
  • Guidance through elimination protocols and resets, if needed
