When you’re stuck in the trenches of an eating disorder or consumed by thoughts of food and disordered eating patterns, it can feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and it can be extremely isolating and taxing, to say the least. For anyone who has ever been there or is currently there, you know all too well the feeling of misery and frustration.

If you are sick of being sick and stuck in the prison of disordered eating patterns, this program is for you! I have been in recovery from my eating disorder for almost 10 years now and I am passionate about helping my clients establish a healthy relationship with themselves and with food and learn to use food as medicine.

Eating disorders are one of the largest undiagnosed and untreated problems facing mental health and medical practitioners today. They are extremely common and not talked about nearly enough. Many of us are suffering in isolation and shame and this needs to change.

Eating disorders are arguably the most challenging addictions to overcome because we cannot simply stop eating like alcoholics or drug addicts can stop using. We must consume food for survival thus, it is imperative we develop a healthy relationship with food and learn how to fuel our body, mind, and spirit most optimally. Helping clients understand how to nourish their bodies and develop a healthy relationship with food is the foundation of our work.

Disordered eating typically develops as the aftermath of trauma. As such, our work will not only transverse the depths of your relationship to and with food, but we will address past trauma and the healing and growth work needed to truly recover. Often, we don’t even realize the “un-finished” growth work necessary to heal and move forward with our lives. We will uncover the growth areas and address underlying cycles of shame and guilt and break the chains and grip they have over us.

The opposite of addiction is connection. We will also work on and grow social connections in your life. When we develop disordered eating patterns we often isolate and pull away from our friends, families, and communities. My eating disorder took so much from me for so long and it was critical to learn how to reconnect to myself and my loved ones.

I have training in the use of several health behavior change models as well as other therapeutics and combine my training in these modalities with my own experience of recovery to ignite healing and recovery with my clients.

I fought the good fight for over a decade as I battled my eating disorder and while I wouldn’t wish those years on my worst enemy, they have shaped me in incredible ways and taught me more than I could have ever imagined, and I will forever be grateful. I am most grateful for true recovery and the opportunity to help others in the woes of this battle.

It has been almost 10 years of freedom from my addiction, and I never take one day for granted. If you are thirsty for this freedom and sick of being sick, let’s work together. Coaching Structure

Coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom

Initial Client Session includes an extensive review of client history and goal setting

 Weekly sessions are 45-60 minutes in length

Clients also have access to me via telegram between sessions (M-Th)
